Home Matters Caregiving in the Greater Boston West area is hiring Personal Care Assistants to provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and support clients in their homes.

The role includes light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and ensuring a safe, healthy environment. Fluency in Cantonese is required, with Mandarin or Japanese as a plus, and a valid driver’s license is preferred. Background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving, home care, companionship, homemaking, or related experience.
• Cantonese fluency required; conversational Mandarin or Japanese is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversations, activities, and social interaction.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Assist with errands, meal preparation, and other routine tasks.
• Assist with basic personal care needs as needed and follow care plans.
• Support with mobility and daily routines, monitor changes and report them.
