Home Matters Caregiving - Greater Boston North / West is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate in-home care in the Greater Boston West area. You will assist with daily living tasks, meals, mobility, and offer meaningful companionship.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of experience, clear English communication, and the ability to pass a background check. Dementia care experience is desirable, and a driver's license may be required depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Must pass a background check.
• Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Medication reminders and documentation
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
• Assist with dementia care and cognitive support.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping.
• Communicate with healthcare providers and family about client needs and progress.
