Home Matters of Greater Boston West is seeking caring Personal Care Assistants to support clients in the Greater Boston West area. Role includes helping with daily activities, meals, mobility, and companionship in a home setting.

We value compassionate, reliable caregivers with English proficiency, ability to pass background checks, and a willingness to assist with dementia-care clients. Flexible shifts and supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, high-quality in-home care.
• Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Medication reminders and documentation.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
• Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.
