Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Climber II to perform intermediate tree care, pruning, cabling, and rigging up to 100 feet. The role supports site clearing and debris disposal while maintaining safety and following company protocols.

You will operate powered equipment like chippers, trucks, and blowers, and use hand tools for tree care tasks. Training for EHAP, First-Aid and CPR is available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Follow procedures related to roping and rigging, maintenance of equipment, and reporting malfunctions.
• Operate landscaping equipment safely (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Willing to obtain EHAP, First-Aid & CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate tree care operations such as pruning and limb removal up to 100 feet.
• Access trees safely per company protocols and manage canopy movement.
• Operate powered equipment (chippers, trucks, blowers) safely and efficiently.
• Execute chainsaw techniques both ground-based and canopy-based.
• Use hand tools to perform tree care tasks and rigging to remove branches or trees.
• Apply PPE according to industry standards and company protocols.
