Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Wakefield is seeking an Operator to monitor product quality and production equipment, perform food safety checks, and document results. The role supports safe, efficient production and requires accurate record-keeping and adherence to GMP & HACCP standards.

This is a 1st shift position from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a rotation from Monday to Sunday. Ability to work with others, basic math and computer skills, and forklift/pallet jack readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift and pallet jack operator’s license.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality check on in-coming raw egg and finished product.
• Performs hourly checks and monitors product quality.
• Completes required documentation accurately and timely.
• Follows SOPs and HACCP guidelines.
• Monitors machines and ensures they are running efficiently, within range for temperatures, speed and tank levels, no leaks and full of eggs.
• Responsible for minor adjustments of equipment and troubleshooting equipment problems.
• Communicates machine or product issues to production management and/or maintenance.
