Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, educate customers, and support patient record processes where required. You will greet shoppers, explain cannabis products and usage, and foster repeat business in a dynamic retail setting.

The role emphasizes compliance with local and state laws, accurate order processing, and maintaining a clean, compliant store environment. 21+ with retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with regulations.
• Background check and state badging as directed by ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Ability to use office equipment and basic software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and educational consulting.
• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate on cannabis products, methods, and efficacy without giving medical advice.
• Build rapport to promote repeat business.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and store front.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pickup.
• Stock and replenish displays; update inventory in METRC or equivalent system.
• Complete POS transactions and support compliance with regulations.
