Job summary

Verano Holdings in Ephrata, PA is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to assist customers and patients in selecting cannabis products, answer questions, and provide care in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role requires 1–2 years in retail or hospitality, a 21+ age, and the ability to learn regulations and maintain compliant records while ensuring accurate online order handling and a clean, organized storefront.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Be an advocate of cannabis customer care.
• Help customers navigate cannabis and educate them on product use as a wellness option.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Work well in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Provide information on types, methods and efficacy of cannabis products (no medical advice).
• Continued cannabis education and training.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation/store front.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up.
• Understand and apply compliance regulations as required by local and state laws.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of inventory.
• Complete transactions at the POS and update inventory systems.
