Job summary

Cresco Labs’ Sunnyside Wellness Advisor role invites you to help customers select cannabis products across recreational, medical, and caregiver needs. You will apply your customer service skills, product knowledge, and state compliance awareness to deliver a best-in-class experience from check-in to checkout in a fast-paced retail setting.

The position emphasizes flexibility with opening/closing shifts and weekends, with part-time schedules around 15-25 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; retail or hospitality preferred.
• Flexibility to work opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers.
• Ability to learn and apply product information in a professional consultative manner.
• Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a best-in-class experience.
• Build relationships by listening to customer needs and fostering a welcoming environment.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and their effects.
• Apply selling and cross‑selling techniques to build baskets.
• Verify documentation and ID for customers.
• Assist in verifying the accuracy of orders dispensed to customers.
• Label and package customer orders.
• Perform accurate cash handling in the POS system per SOPs.
• Maintain records of dispensary activities complying with state regulations and company standards.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and ensure stock meets compliance.
• Assist in organizing sales floor merchandise and product displays.
• Ensure store security and safety compliance per SOPs.
• Keep the store organized and clean for customers and team.
• Escalate any issues to management.
