Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Lawrence, NJ seeks a Cannabis Advisor for full-time, open availability. You will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers, and assist with inventory and POS processes in a retail cannabis setting.

Requirements include 21+ years, a high school diploma, and ability to pass background checks and state badging; prior retail experience is preferred. Training on cannabinoids and regulations will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and pass background check and state badging.
• Willingness to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Ability to use basic office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Knowledge of cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and their use as wellness items.
• Help customers navigate product types and methods without giving medical advice.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure accurate inventory updates.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant store environment.
