Job summary

Native Roots in Colorado is seeking a Budtender to deliver an outstanding customer experience by guiding customers through their cannabis journey. You will provide product recommendations, educate on benefits, and complete sales accurately and compliantly.

This role requires strong communication, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid Colorado MED Employee License. Prior cannabis or retail experience is a plus, with flexibility to work open availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must hold or obtain a valid Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee License.
• Strong communication skills.
• Customer service, cash handling or sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of marijuana laws and MED regulations is a plus.
• Experience operating POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in customers and patients.
• Engages with patients to understand wellness needs and recommends products.
• Educates customers on cannabis products and benefits.
• Assists with deliveries, transfers, and inventory management.
• Maintains store cleanliness and organization.
• Performs sales transactions using POS and ensures compliant labeling.
