Job summary

Standard Wellness is seeking an Assistant Manager – Operations to support the General Manager in daily store operations, guest experience, labor deployment, and cash controls. You will own front-of-house execution and serve as Manager on Duty as assigned, with cross-training in inventory management and close collaboration with the GM to uphold company standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; pass background checks and licensing as per state cannabis rules.
Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required.
Minimum 2 years in retail, hospitality, or regulated industry; leadership experience preferred.
Must read/write/speak English fluently and be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

Serve as Manager on Duty with authority over daily store execution and cash controls.
Lead staff to deliver exceptional guest experience and a guest-first culture.
Execute store operations, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee opening/closing, inventory counts, cash reconciliation, and reporting.
Coach staff on service standards, product knowledge, and sales behavior.
Handle guest escalations and monitor store email for issues.
