Job summary

Story Cannabis is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee daily inventory control, supervise Inventory Associates, and maintain organized stock levels across back-of-house and front-of-house areas. The role ensures procedures are followed, products are stored correctly, and inventory turnover is optimized.

Responsibilities include managing shipments, labeling, counts, reporting, and coordinating with buyers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory management experience, cannabis industry preferred.
• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have no scheduling restrictions.
• Employment offers contingent on pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage Inventory Leads and Associates and delegate tasks.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels using inventory management software such as Dutchie, Lucid ID, and Metrc.
• Oversee the receiving of new shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Tag and label inventory and update system records.
• Conduct and supervise daily inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain organization and storage protocols.
• Address and resolve any inventory discrepancies immediately.
• Support the sales floor through restocking of inventory and breaking currency denominations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
• Maintain the location specific inventory in the system and in their physical locations.
• Generate and review inventory reports.
• Coordinate with buyers to place orders to replenish stock.
• Lead staff training sessions on inventory procedures.
• Review and update inventory processes and policies as needed.
• Manage the monthly overnight inventory audit, all associated reporting, follow-up investigations, and adjustments, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all inventories.
