Job summary

Story Cannabis is seeking an Inventory Manager to run daily inventory control, supervise Inventory Associates, and keep a highly organized stock in back-of-house and front-of-house areas. You’ll ensure procedures, storage, and handling meet quality and compliance standards while optimizing turnover and accuracy.

You’ll lead teams, train staff on inventory procedures, and coordinate with buyers to replenish stock, while maintaining audit integrity and reporting for regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of inventory management experience; cannabis experience preferred.
• Marijuana knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be over 21 and have a valid state ID or US passport.
• Reliable transportation and no scheduling restrictions; pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage Inventory Leads and Associates and delegate tasks.
• Monitor inventory levels using software such as Dutchie, Lucid ID, Metrc.
• Oversee receiving of shipments and ensure accuracy and quality.
• Tag, label, and update system records for inventory.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Maintain organization and storage protocols; resolve discrepancies.
• Support sales floor through restocking and currency handling.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Maintain location-specific inventory in system and physical locations.
• Generate and review inventory reports; coordinate with buyers to replenish stock.
• Lead staff training on inventory procedures; update processes as needed.
• Manage monthly overnight inventory audit and related reporting.
