Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings in Grand Rapids is seeking a District Manager to lead our multi-location cannabis retail footprint. You will serve as the General Manager of a home location while coaching the GMs of other stores, driving sales, profitability, compliance, and customer experience across the district.

You will monitor KPIs, influence purchasing and pricing, partner with corporate teams on merchandising, and ensure adherence to state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years’ experience in lieu of degree in multi-unit retail management.
• 7+ years retail cannabis management experience preferred.
• Proven success managing high-volume locations with full P&L responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach General Managers across district stores to maximize profitability.
• Monitor district KPIs and close gaps between actual and projections.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws across all locations.
• Partner with corporate teams on merchandising, pricing, and promotions.
• Oversee home location operations and sign off on product buys and inventory.
