Story Cannabis is seeking a Retail Associate to be the face of the store, guiding customers through product selections and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. You will bring brand to life through genuine interactions, deep product knowledge, and a passion for helping customers find what fits their needs.

This role blends customer service, education, and operational precision to create a seamless experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Previous customer services experience preferred.
• Marijuana knowledge a bonus.
• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Can legally work in the United States - all documentation required.
• Must have a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have no scheduling restrictions.
• Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the retail store with compassion and professionalism.
• Enter customer information into our database systems to verify eligibility for purchase.
• Complete all sales and job duties per SOP.
• Provide exceptional customer service through elevated standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
• Handle cash and debit transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced drawer.
• Work with a diverse group of personalities - employees and customers.
• Demonstrate excellent mathematical skills.
• Be organized, efficient, and manage time and resources well.
• Operate cash register, POS system, and cash drawer.
• Stock and organize retail store; conduct nightly inventory counts.
• Collaborate with team to meet sales, customer satisfaction, and compliance goals.
