Good-Day-Farm in Harvey, LA is seeking an Assistant General Retail Manager to support daily operations of our cannabis retail facility. This role requires leadership, operational expertise, and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.

You will lead staff training, manage schedules, oversee cash handling and inventory, and partner with the General Manager to meet sales goals while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a leadership position in retail, hospitality, service, or cannabis-related industries.
• Cannabis industry experience preferred
• Must clear a background check
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated capability in people management and culture building
• Positive attitude and flexibility
• Demonstrated experience in cash and inventory management
• Microsoft Suite proficiency

Responsibilities

• Lead staff training and development, assist in hiring, conduct reviews, build staff schedules, and assist the General Manager with payroll
• Be a cultural leader and model company values
• Lead and assist in revenue growth and customer relations, meeting sales goals
• Communicate promotions and business expectations to staff daily
• Manage all inventory processes and reconciliation to prevent loss
• Oversee daily store opening/closing, cash handling, and general upkeep
• Maintain in-store visual merchandising and customer journey standards
