Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help run daily retail operations, oversee staff, inventory purchasing and tracking, and support sales goals and bonus targets.

As manager-on-duty in the absence of the General Manager, you will build staff schedules, coordinate dispensary activity, ensure strong customer service, and maintain accurate records for inventory and cash.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year as an assistant manager or above.
• Strong ability to work with staff and retail management.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing personnel, inventory purchasing and tracking.
• Drive sales goals and bonus targets.
• Act as manager-on-duty in the General Manager's absence.
• Spend 25% of time on inventory related activities and maintaining records.
• Support dispensary staff and customer/patient relations.
• Provide regular training on POS and Inventory systems.
• Build bi-weekly staff schedules and oversee operations on the floor.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, orders, and deliveries.
