Job summary

TerrAscend is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee post-harvest and packaging for non-flower and flower products in the grow facility. The role will supervise staff across shifts, coordinate with site management to execute daily plans, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year degree with leadership experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage inventory and production records while ensuring OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Two year degree and a minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Effective written and verbal skills.
• Ability to do basic mathematical calculations, and use a calculator.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to twist, bend, and reach to perform job duties.
• Be detailed oriented.
• Ability to learn internal inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees and maintains safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, and on time performance to schedule.
• Works with the site management team to execute daily production plan, site initiatives, and company initiatives.
• Continually improves all aspects of the assigned area.
• Position will float between all departments.
• Main point on contact for all staff and vendors during 2nd shift operating hours.
• Assist in the planning and production schedules, ensuring targets are met within given time frames.
• Monitoring production processes, ensuring efficiencies and quality standards are met. Identify or resolve issues or bottlenecks that may affect production output.
• Managing inventory and supplies, includes monitoring supply levels, placing orders through procurement.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, OSHA regulations.
• Reporting and documentation, responsible for maintaining accurate production records, preparing reports on production, efficiency and quality.
• Drives and leads continuous improvement activities on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Promotes development of current and future team leaders in preparation for higher levels of leadership.
• Maintains flexibility to work any shift.
• Communicate to Management of any facility emergencies or equipment failures.
• Other duties as assigned.
