Job summary

Story Cannabis, based in Phoenix, is seeking a Manager of Operations Procurement to lead sourcing for non-retail goods and services and own Order.co, Sage Intacct, and Concur. You will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Facilities, IT, and Marketing to keep purchasing aligned with budgets and policies.

The role covers supplier management, spend analysis, and contract renewals across multiple sites, including cannabis packaging and cultivation needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Cannabis multi-site operations and packaging experience.
• Hands-on with Order.co or similar procurement platform; Sage Intacct ERP experience.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, systems, and vendor management.
• Continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and purchasing for non-retail goods and services; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships; monitor performance and resolve issues.
• Partner with departments on procurement requests, sourcing initiatives, and contract renewals.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Serve as admin for Order.co, Sage Intacct, and Concur; manage catalogs and user access.
• Create and process purchase orders in Sage Intacct; coordinate receiving and invoicing.
• Maintain vendor master records and onboarding; ensure compliance with spending limits.
• Prepare spend analysis and procurement reporting across categories.
• Improve procure-to-pay workflows with IT for efficiency and cost savings.
• Procure manufacturing raw materials, packaging, and production supplies.
• Procure office supplies, furniture, and equipment.
• Procure cultivation supplies and plant nutrients.
• Procure facilities and maintenance supplies.
• Procure marketing materials and professional services.
