Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in cannabis post-harvest, processing, or production preferred.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis drying, trimming, curing, handling, and storage procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking, production documentation, and compliance procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily post-harvest operations, including drying, trimming, curing, sorting, and product preparation.
• Assign tasks, manage schedules, and supervise post-harvest staff performance.
• Monitor drying and curing conditions to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Ensure cannabis is weighed, labeled, stored, and tracked accurately.
• Maintain sanitation, organization, and safety standards in post-harvest areas.
• Ensure SOPs and quality control requirements are followed by staff.
• Maintain production records, inventory logs, and waste documentation.
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and labor efficiency to meet deadlines.
• Identify and address quality issues, contamination risks, and inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cultivation, processing, inventory, and compliance teams for smooth operations.
• Train employees on handling procedures, equipment use, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations and company policies.
