Job summary

District Cannabis LLC. is seeking a Packaging Associate to finalize finished flower units and assist the Packaging Machine Operator with bagging tasks. You'll help with machine-related duties and troubleshooting in a fast-paced cannabis production facility on-site in Washington, DC.

Role requires attention to detail, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to pass background checks. The position offers full-time hours, a team environment, and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years packaging and/or production experience.

Responsibilities

• Review completed units to verify correct weight and detect defects.
• Apply all necessary labels.
• Count completed units into predetermined case pack sizes.
• Calibrate scales regularly.
• Assist in day-to-day cleaning of the packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot with Packaging Machine Operator.
• Pre-open packaging bags as needed.
• Maintain an adequate supply of packaging bags.
