Job summary

Verano is hiring a Packaging Specialist for our Chester, PA facility. The role focuses on weighing, assembling, packaging, sealing, and labeling products on-site within the CPG - Packaging department.

You will operate packaging equipment, collect QA samples, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards. Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, be able to follow detailed instructions, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a related position.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and operate facility equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, assemble, package, seal, and label products.
• Safely operate packaging equipment such as flow wrap, labeling, and heat-sealing machines.
• Collect samples for QA as needed for quality testing.
• Transport finished products from the packaging workspace to the vault.
• Manage, document, and destroy cultivation waste.
• Monitor and maintain quality control per state/local laws.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; keep the workspace clean and safe.
• Inform Packaging Manager of system discrepancies; document activity in the trace system.
• Inspect finished goods and processed material for irregularities and report to QA.
