Verano seeks a Packaging Specialist to support our cannabis cultivation facility. You will weigh, package, label, and prepare products (flower, edibles, extracts) for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include operating flow wrap, labeling, and heat-sealing equipment, collecting QA samples, and documenting activities in our track-and-trace system while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–3 years of related experience.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
• Willing to learn about, operate, and maintain facility equipment safely.
• Must have effective time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to sit and stand for at least 8 hours per day, lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and 21+ years old to register with state cannabis commission.
• Must be able to stand for 90% of the time and work in variable temperatures/humidity.

Responsabilités

• Weigh, assemble, package, seal, and label products.
• Safely operate packaging equipment (flow wrap, labeling, heat-sealing).
• Collect samples for QA testing as needed.
• Transport finished products to the vault.
• Maintain quality control and SOP adherence.
• Document activity in the track-and-trace system.
• Inspect finished goods for mold, defects, and irregularities and inform QA.
• Support other cultivation/production teams to meet goals.
