Job summary

Story Cannabis Co. is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to oversee day-to-day email, SMS and social media communications across retail and wholesale channels in multiple markets.

The role involves evaluating channel performance, audience needs, and regulatory requirements to guide timing, segmentation and optimization opportunities. You will coordinate creatives, engage with the online community, manage vendor relationships and lead initiatives that advance the broader marketing

Qualifications

• 2+ years marketing experience.
• Experience with email/SMS platforms (Klaviyo, Springbig, Alpine IQ, or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of cannabis advertising rules and platform policies.
• Comfort with a daily production cadence across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily email, SMS and social media communications across B2C and B2B channels.
• Coordinate creative assets and vendor relationships to support campaigns.
• Develop segmentation strategies and optimize send times for performance.
• QA pre-send checks for links, personalization and compliance language.
• Monitor performance and adjust campaigns to improve engagement and conversions.
• Collaborate with Brand Ambassadors and Creative Services to meet deadlines.
• Analyze weekly/monthly performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Ensure compliance with state advertising requirements and platform policies.
