Job summary

Goldflower is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing to lead our Bradenton and Mt. Dora operations.

You will build a high-performing manufacturing organization across flower post-production, pre-rolls, extraction, infused products, vape and concentrates, packaging and finished goods. Reporting to the COO and directing Directors of Manufacturing, you will align capacity with growth goals, drive planning, quality, safety and cost performance, and scale operations as the business expands.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership in multi-site, high-mix operations.
• Experience leading senior managers or directors in a regulated, high-volume environment.
• Experience scaling consumer-products manufacturing while maintaining service, quality, safety and cost.
• Working knowledge of production planning, extraction, filling, packaging, automation, quality systems, maintenance and cost management.
• Experience launching new manufacturing capabilities and moving products to sustained production.
• Strong command of labor planning, yield improvement, capacity modeling and continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and regulated inventory or traceability; cannabis-industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree or operational certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership across all manufacturing functions (flower post-production, etc.).
• Lead Directors of Manufacturing at Bradenton and Mt. Dora and maintain campus-level decision rights.
• Build cohesive manufacturing organization with common expectations and learning.
• Own execution against production and supply plans, including output, timing, and quality.
• Remove systemic constraints and resolve routine issues at leadership level.
• Translate demand into SKU-level production plans and capacity requirements.
• Drive schedule attainment and finished-goods availability across stores.
• Balance batch sizing, changeovers, packaging capacity and material availability.
• Provide visibility to capacity, constraints, risks and tradeoffs through planning processes.
• Establish operating cadence and scorecards; manage costs and labor efficiency.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and capital plans; measure investments against results.
• Ensure compliance with GMP-like standards and SOPs; maintain traceability and records.
• Protect product quality and safety as products scale.
