Job summary

DCM Inc. seeks a Lab Manager to oversee lab production activities including extraction, distillation, post processing, and testing while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise technicians, manage inventory, and coordinate with the General Manager to schedule strains and products, maintaining a full SKU set for sales. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and knowledge of Metrc are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related fields; Science or Engineering preferred.
• Management experience required.
• General lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee extraction and distillation activities; supervise technicians.
• Monitor post-processing steps: filtration, refinement, decarboxylation, and formulation.
• Manage WIP inventory and ensure calibration of filing and packaging equipment.
• Coordinate third-party testing and ensure timely sample pickups.
• Maintain lab inventory of solvents, tools and consumables.
• Conduct safety trainings and verify SOPs and PPE usage.
• Ensure compliance with Metrc seed-to-sale tracking and inspections.
