Job summary

Story Cannabis is seeking an Integrated Pest Management Technician to support our cultivation environment in Maryland. You will monitor, identify, and control pest activity, ensuring IPM practices meet safety and regulatory standards.

Inspect plants and rooms, perform spray tasks, document issues, collect samples, and report findings to the IPM Manager. Evening/weekend availability may be required; attention to detail and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with pest management or cultivation.
• Strong understanding of Integrated Pest Management principles and safety.
• Ability to identify early signs of pests or disease through observation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all plants and rooms in designated facilities.
• Complete spray assignments as directed by the IPM Manager.
• Document plant health, pest issues, and cleanliness of grow rooms.
• Take plant samples for inspection to identify pests or health issues.
• Maintain PPE and equipment; follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Alert management to pest locations and provide treatment guidance.
