Job summary

AYR Wellness, Inc. in New Jersey seeks an Inventory Specialist for our dispensary to maintain accurate counts, keep online and in-store menus stocked, and ensure compliance with AYR policies and regulatory requirements. This role reports to the Retail Inventory Manager and Dispensary Store Manager.

Responsibilities include daily counts, tagging, reconciliations, PO generation, and maintaining records while keeping the store clean, safe and guest-ready. 1–3 years retail experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in a retail environment.
• Able to pass background checks and fingerprinting.
• Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies.
• Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate counts of inventories through daily counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure items are properly tagged with required paperwork per regulations.
• Reconcile inventory to state systems and resolve malfunctions.
• Keep a clean, organized shop/storage area for access to product and work areas.
• Maintain delivery records and invoices per General Manager/state regulations.
• Ensure items meet quality standards and specifications.
• Generate purchase orders or transfers to fulfill sales orders.
• Run and maintain inventory level reports.
• Keep store areas, including restrooms, clean, safe and guest-ready.
