The Inventory Specialist role focuses on accurate inventory in the dispensary, keeping online and in-store menus current, and ensuring AYR policy and regulatory compliance. The Inventory Control Specialist reports to the Retail Inventory Manager and the Dispensary Store Manager, performing daily counts, tagging, paperwork, and reporting to support a compliant, well-organized store

Qualifications

• Must pass all background checks and fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies.
• Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies.
• Ability to collaborate with others while also working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate counts of inventories with daily counts and reconciliations.
• Tag products according to state/local regulations and accompany paperwork.
• Reconcile inventory to ensure accurate porting to state systems and detect malfunctions.
• Keep a clean, organized shop/storage area for easy access to product and work areas.
• Maintain delivery records and invoices per GM/state regulations.
• Ensure items meet quality standards and specifications.
• Generate purchase orders or transfers to fulfill sales orders.
• Run and maintain inventory level reports.
• Keep store areas including restrooms clean, safe, and guest-ready.
