Planet Nugg on Long Island operates a flagship cannabis dispensary known for its premium product selection and concierge-style service. As an Inventory Associate, you will organize, track, and merchandise our premium cannabis assortment so Budtenders can deliver a seamless customer experience.

You will manage receiving, data entry in seed-to-sale and POS systems, cycle counts, and waste/returns processes while ensuring inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control in retail or cannabis environments is beneficial.
• Ability to enter data accurately in a seed-to-sale or POS system.
• Experience performing cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Familiarity with FIFO and product labeling standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify against manifests and POs.
• Enter and reconcile product data in the seed-to-sale system and POS.
• Conduct cycle counts and full inventory audits; resolve discrepancies.
• Stock and merchandise the sales floor following FIFO and branding standards.
• Manage expiration and waste procedures; prepare disposal documentation.
• Stage new SKUs with accurate labeling and pricing.
• Maintain organized back-of-house storage in regulatory compliance.
• Support team during high traffic periods and assist with basic retail tasks.
