Job summary

Hirebridge in California is seeking an Inventory Associate to oversee daily inventory operations in our retail storefront. You will ensure accuracy of counts and shipments, barcode new items, and verify product arrivals while maintaining METRC compliance.

You'll manage cycles counts, coordinate with management on discrepancies, log transactions in the POS, and help keep shelves stocked and compliant. Strong math, attention to detail, and excellent customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Retail inventory experience is preferred.
• METRC or similar cannabis seed-to-sale tracking experience.
• Strong math skills and proficiency with Excel.
• Able to pass a background check and be 21+.

Responsibilities

• Barcoding all new inventory in the POS system.
• Audit physical inventory against virtual counts.
• Perform daily/weekly cycle counts and verification.
• Notify management of discrepancies for investigation.
• Research variances and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accounts for non-stock and unavailable inventory.
• Follow cannabis waste procedures and schedules.
• Create a calendar for upcoming expired products.
• Assist budtending as directed by manager.
• Provide excellent customer experience and log transactions in POS.
• Ensure seamless customer experience across all interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
