Job summary

Tradecraft Farms in Vista, CA, is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage cannabis inventory with accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will support METRC transfers, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper labeling and storage while assisting sales on the floor when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cannabis retail, inventory management, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with METRC or similar track-and-trace systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays; 21+ and regulatory eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inventory transfers in compliance with METRC and DCC regulations.
• Conduct intake verification, weight checks, label accuracy, and chain-of-custody docs.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile with METRC and POS records.
• Maintain inventory health and flag discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Assist with back-of-house organization and label/store protocols.
• Support METRC adjustments and manifest reconciliation under supervision.
• Greet customers and assist on the sales floor when needed.
