Job summary

Story Cannabis in Phoenix, AZ is hiring an Inventory Manager to oversee daily inventory control, supervise Inventory Associates, and maintain a compliant, well-organized stock system in both back-of-house and front-of-house areas.

You will manage counts, use Dutchie, Lucid ID, and Metrc, coordinate with buyers, lead training, and ensure accuracy of reports while maintaining regulatory compliance and a welcoming, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory management experience, cannabis industry preferred.
• Must be 21+ years of age and possess a valid state ID or U.S. passport.
• Reliability with transportation and no scheduling restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Manage Inventory Leads and Associates and delegate tasks.
• Monitor inventory levels using Dutchie, Lucid ID, and Metrc.
• Oversee receiving of shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Tag and label inventory; update system records.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Enforce organization and storage protocols; resolve discrepancies.
• Support sales floor through restocking and cash handling as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Maintain location-specific inventory in system and physical stock.
• Generate and review inventory reports; coordinate with buyers.
• Lead staff training on inventory procedures.
• Review and update inventory processes and policies.
• Lead monthly overnight inventory audit, reporting and investigations.
