Job summary

Essential Employment Services, LLC is seeking an Inventory and Compliance Specialist to oversee cannabis inventory operations, ensure accuracy, and support regulatory compliance across Dutchie and METRC systems. You will coordinate receiving, stocking, and shipping processes while maintaining strict inventory controls.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and willingness to work irregular hours as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inventory management experience, preferably in cannabis
• Strong organizational and time management skills with multitasking ability
• Attention to detail and accuracy, able to resolve discrepancies
• Familiarity with inventory management software and quick learning of new systems
• Knowledge of state/local cannabis storage, handling, and transportation regulations
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate cannabis inventory records, including quantities, expiration dates, and strains
• Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with records
• Collaborate with cultivation, processing, and sales teams to move inventory and fulfill orders
• Maintain clean, compliant storage areas and follow safety protocols
• Assist with COA data, packaging, labeling, and distribution logistics
• Stay up-to-date with regulations and best practices in cannabis inventory compliance
• Support audits and reporting as needed
