Green Thumb in Toledo, OH seeks a Quality Technician to verify raw ingredients, materials, packaging and finished products meet regulatory standards and customer expectations. You will support audits, maintain quality records, perform sampling, and help drive improvements in GMP compliance.

The role requires working knowledge of SOPs, documentation practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Cannabis industry familiarity is a plus; 21+ age and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, medical devices, pharma, food, or cannabis) is highly desired.
• Familiarity with GMP, SQF and HACCP concepts is desirable.
• Strong sampling and inspection experience with documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Department and ensure SOPs are followed by all staff.
• Perform incoming inspections and verify material compliance to specs.
• Execute in-process and finished product sampling per requirements.
• Review batch docs, packaging, labeling, and test results for release.
• Maintain good documentation practices and file records accordingly.
• Assist segregation and disposition of non-conforming product.
• Contribute to quality training and improvements of the quality system.
