Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is seeking a Quality Technician to verify compliance of raw ingredients, materials, packaging, and finished products with applicable regulations and customer expectations. You will help manage quality tracking systems, audits, and state standards, while supporting ongoing improvements to the quality program.

This role requires attention to documentation, meticulous sampling, and strong knowledge of GMP and food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries is highly desirable.
• FDA, GMP, SQF and HACCP experience is highly desired.
• Strong experience with product sampling and inspection.
• Excellent ability to follow procedures and monitor adherence.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Quality Department and ensures SOP compliance.
• Perform incoming inspections of materials and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Execute in-process and finished product sampling as required.
• Review batch documentation, packaging, labeling, logbooks, and test results for release.
• Maintain documentation practices and file records.
• Assist with disposition of non-conforming product.
• Identify and deliver quality training as needed.
• Maintain quality records and assist with CAPA actions.
• Investigate root causes of incidents and assist with corrective actions.
• Suggest improvements to the quality system and lead improvement projects.
• Monitor GMP compliance and food safety guidelines.
• Report any conditions affecting product safety or quality to management.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and sanitation verification.
