Job summary

Responsibilities include training staff, enforcing SOPs, managing resources, and maintaining equipment and inventory. The candidate should have strong leadership and cannabis-extraction knowledge to drive quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in chemistry or biology preferred.
• Understanding of state and local laws.
• Understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Familiarity with separations, isolations and fractionation.
• Knowledge of solvent and solvent free extraction methods.
• Stay current of practices and new developments in the cannabis extraction industry.

Responsibilities

• Communicate shift, week, and month goals to team members.
• Train new team members on extraction equipment and procedures.
• Ensure policy and procedure compliance across all processes.
• Monitor attendance and performance of employees.
• Oversee equipment cleaning and maintenance per policy.
• Maintain inventory records of materials, chemicals, and equipment.
