Trulieve seeks an Extraction Manager in Adel, GA to lead laboratory operations, oversee regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in extraction processes. The role requires hands-on expertise in hydrocarbon, ethanol, and solvent-less methods, plus strong leadership and safety oversight.

The position entails coordinating with production, ensuring quality, and maintaining stringent SOP adherence.

Qualifications

Advanced botanical extractions knowledge and expertise required.
Expertise in Hydrocarbon extraction and Ethanol extraction; CO2 experience preferable.
Experience in solvent-less extraction techniques; rosin production a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering or related field or equivalent experience required.
Broad knowledge of scientific principles applicable to chemistry in general.
Manufacturing scale up experience (ISO, LEAN).
Knowledge of management and organizational concepts, principles, and techniques with demonstrated expertise in research administration.
Excellent critical thinking skills to troubleshoot processes and instrumentation.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing project needs; results driven.
Strong time management and ability to lead effective meetings.
Experienced crisis manager with emotional control under adverse conditions.
Advanced employee relations skills including coaching and delegation techniques.
Demonstrated confidence with a professional leadership style.

Responsibilities

Identify and implement new technologies to improve laboratory workflow and data quality.
Ensure continuous knowledge growth of lab procedures and extraction methods.
Represent the company in regulatory and industry meetings and events.
Ensure regulatory compliance including safety and environmental requirements.
Provide technical guidance to the facility on new services.
Analyze production requirements to meet schedules and drive improvement.
Plan and organize production schedules with operations for market opportunities.
Monitor quality control with Analytical Laboratory Manager to ensure high quality results.
Be accessible 7 days a week to address laboratory issues.
Approve changes to SOPs and periodically audit staff for compliance.
Investigate adverse events and determine root causes.
Resolve conflicts and coordinate with HR as needed.
Participate in department and all-staff meetings.
