Job summary

Trulieve is seeking an Extraction Team Lead for 2nd shift in Quincy, FL to oversee extraction operations and guide a skilled team. You will manage shift goals, train members, and ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of chemical processes, and hands-on experience with extraction equipment. Local regulations and plant safety are emphasized in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• : Education in chemistry or biology preferred
• + Knowledge of state and local laws
• + Safe handling of hazardous materials
• + Familiarity with separations, isolations and fractionation
• + Knowledge of solvent extraction methods
• + Cannabis knowledge including Ethyl extraction
• + Strong leadership and communication skills
• + Manufacturing experience preferred
• + Must be 21+ years old or 18+ in CT/PA/WV

Responsibilities

• Communicate shift, week, and month goals to the team
• Train new team members on extraction equipment and procedures
• Ensure policy and procedure compliance across department processes
• Monitor employee attendance and performance
• Oversee equipment cleaning and maintenance and ensure proper upkeep
• Maintain inventory records of plant materials, chemicals, and equipment
• Oversee process flow and adjust resource allocation to meet demand
• Operate, maintain, and repair extraction equipment
• Ensure proper storage of supplies and waste disposal per guidelines
• Maintain MSDS for all chemicals and products
• Follow SOPs and lab safety protocols
• Coordinate with testing laboratory as per state guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
