Job summary

Mountain High Products, LLC dba Wana Brands is seeking a Kitchen Technician I to prep and cook cannabis-infused candy in our Colorado kitchen. You will maintain the kitchen schedule, monitor equipment, and ensure compliance with safety, GMP, HACCP, and QA standards.

You will collaborate with vendors, integrate new tech to boost efficiency, and work in a high-temperature kitchen with lab and packaging gear. Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain rigorous hygiene requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, an MED Badge issued through the state of Colorado.
• Learn2Serve Food Handler Certificate and/or Green Flower Certificate or ability to receive qualifications within 30 days of hiring.
• Possess basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication & division.
• Ability to operate basic machinery and develop skills required to maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• This role exists to prep and cook cannabis infused candy in the kitchen department.
• The Kitchen Technician I will help maintain the kitchen schedule; monitor, safely and efficiently use equipment and supplies.
• Help maintain professional relationships with all external vendors and contractors and improve efficiency through incorporation of new technology.
• The working environment includes exposure to high temperature kitchen equipment, laboratory equipment, and cannabis-infused ingredients.
