Job summary

Mint Cannabis in Georgetown is seeking a capable Retail Lead to guide daily dispensary operations, mentor Budtenders, and ensure compliant, customer-focused service on the sales floor. The role emphasizes coaching, product knowledge, and teamwork to deliver an educational shopping experience.

The position requires at least 1 year in cannabis retail or customer service, strong communication, and the ability to manage staff and POS tasks. Weekend availability and 21+ age are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or cannabis retail experience.
• 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
• Working knowledge of cannabis products, POS systems, and customer service best practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (3+ hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (or equivalent license) if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in line with policy.
• Oversee daily dispensary floor operations and support staff.
• Assist patients with product selection and provide excellent service.
• Mentor and train Budtenders and delegate tasks as needed.
• Keep displays clean, labeled, rotated, and stocked.
• Address customer concerns and support team performance.
• Operate POS systems and assist with cash reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean, compliant, and professional retail environment.
• Support management with team communication and scheduling.
