Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Dispensary Associate in Wharton, NJ. You will guide customers through cannabis purchases, describe products clearly, and maintain precise transactions in a fast-paced environment.

You will work 30-40 hours weekly with flexibility for weekdays and weekends, delivering outstanding service while adhering to regulatory requirements and store policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail experience preferred; cannabis retail experience a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Cannabis POS software experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic.
• Willing to understand applicable state and local laws in the industry.
• Must comply with all regulatory requirements for working in cannabis.
• Excellent organization and time management; attention to detail.
• Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class customer experience while maintaining store operations and compliance.
• Guide customers through sales and provide advice as needed.
• Keep the sales floor stocked; keep menus and displays up-to-date.
• Fulfill and pack customer orders; move orders for pickup.
• Promote a positive, customer-service oriented environment.
• Develop product knowledge to offer accurate information.
• Respond to inquiries in person, online, and over the phone.
• Accurately use the POS system and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain data entry accuracy and support team goals.
• Verify paperwork and required identification for customers.
• Support opening/closing checklists and store routines.
