Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings is expanding in Laurel, MD and hiring a Full-Time Dispensary Associate to guide customers through the cannabis purchasing experience with informed recommendations and accurate product descriptions in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 30–40 hours weekly with weekday and weekend flexibility, a focus on customer service, basic computer skills, and compliance with state and local regulations. Previous retail or cannabis experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Retail or cannabis experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Cannabis POS software experience a plus.
• Willing to comply with state/local laws and regulations.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Clear and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class customer experience while maintaining compliance.
• Guide customers through sales and provide product knowledge.
• Keep sales floor stocked, displays updated, and store clean.
• Process orders for pickup and keep POS data accurate.
• Promote a positive, compliant work environment.
• Continuously develop product knowledge to advise customers.
• Respond to inquiries in store, online, and by phone.
