Job summary

District Cannabis LLC. in Maryland is seeking a Dispensary Retail Associate to provide product knowledge, assist customers, and ensure a clean, well-organized store environment.

You will engage with customers, recommend suitable cannabis products, handle sales transactions, and help maintain inventory and merchandising across the floor and online channels. Previous retail or food service experience is preferred, and a passion for cannabis is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old for legal reasons.
• Pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
• Minimum of two years of retail or food service experience.
• Cannabis experience preferred but not required (up to 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Maintain the dispensary stocked, clean and organized.
• Maintain knowledge of products and strains in store and industry-wide products.
• Provide excellent customer/patient service; respond to concerns in-person, online and over the phone.
• Accurately enter customer data into company platforms and process transactions in POS.
• Assist customers with orders (online, in-store, curbside) and guide product usage as needed.
• Support inventory, merchandising, and in-store marketing as directed by leadership.
• Adhere to HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
