DCM Inc. is hiring a Retail Associate (Budtender) in Washington, DC on site. The role focuses on product knowledge, customer experience, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor while assisting customers with purchases and recommendations.

The candidate should bring cannabis industry passion, extensive product knowledge, and at least two years in retail or food service with METRC experience; a background check will be conducted. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
• Minimum of two years of retail or food service experience; cannabis experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years of METRC experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer/patient service and product guidance.
• Ensure dispensary is stocked, clean and organized at all times.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains and industry trends.
• Discuss customer needs, counsel on cannabis use, dosages, forms, effects and side effects.
• Conduct sales transactions and input data in the POS system accurately.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions.
