Job summary

Proper in Kirkwood, MO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager with daily dispensary operations, ensuring compliance with state and local rules and driving profitability. This full-time, non-exempt role is open to internal employees, and prior leadership and retail experience is required.

The role involves scheduling, inventory, audits, and patient care oversight, with hands-on leadership of Patient Care Specialists.

Qualifications

• Missouri cannabis knowledge and local laws
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License and MV report
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of cannabis strains and products

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily dispensary operations
• Collaborate to implement policies and procedures
• Ensure financial and operational goals are met by staff
• Maintain up-to-date inventory and reports
• Assist with audits of POS, inventory and security systems
• Conduct daily counts of cannabis products
• Oversee compliance with state and local regulations
• Create weekly staff schedules
• Support patient care and customer relations
• Guide dispensary staff on products and services
