Job summary

Vireo Health, Inc. is seeking a dispensary associate in Blaine, MN to support patient care and medication preparation. You will assist customers through the dispensation process, maintain accurate records, and ensure regulatory compliance under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexible availability including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and safeguards patient information and medication safety.
• Assists customers with dispensation processes for cannabis medications as regulated.
• Verifies preparation, labeling, and order entries.
• Uses computer systems for patient communications, refill orders, and home deliveries.
• Maintains cash drawer and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensures compliance with state laws and regulations under a licensed pharmacist supervision.
• Engages with patients to educate on proper use and storage of cannabis medications.
• Responds to patient communications via text, email, voicemail, etc.
