Job summary

Vireo Health is seeking a customer-focused associate for their Minneapolis dispensary. You will assist patients through the dispensary process, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage daily operations including cash handling and patient education.

Strong communication skills and experience in a fast-paced retail setting are preferred. Weekend/evening availability is required, with competitive union benefits and paid time off provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidential information and ensures patient medication safety.
• Assists customers with preparing and finalizing the dispensary process for regulated medical cannabis.
• Verifies preparation, labeling, order entries and charges.
• Uses seed-to-sale software for patient data input and delivery coordination.
• Manages cash drawer and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensures compliance with state regulations under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Handles patient questions across text, email, and phone channels.
• Educates patients on proper use and storage of cannabis medications.
