Job summary

Vireo Health in Minneapolis is seeking a dispensary associate to support patient care and ensure compliant dispensing of medical cannabis products. You will assist patients and caregivers, process orders, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 1–3 years of retail experience, with proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and safeguards entrusted confidential information and patient safety
• Assists customers with dispensation process for medication as regulated by medical cannabis laws
• Completes CPC operational duties: organize workflow, verify preparation, label medications
• Uses computer systems for daily operations, patient communications, and home deliveries
• Maintains cash drawer and opening/closing procedures
• Complies with state laws and dispensary regulations under licensed pharmacist supervision
• Participates in recordkeeping and reporting for State Compliance
• Attends staff meetings and continuing education
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and infection-control standards
• Educates patients on proper use and storage of cannabis medications
• Interacts with patients and caregivers throughout the dispensary experience
• Responds to patient communications via text, email, voicemail
• Troubleshoots patient issues related to cannabis products
• Performs other duties as assigned
