Job summary

Insa Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Cultivation Technician I to care for cannabis plants through all life stages at our Easthampton, MA facility. The role involves rotating through a limited set of cultivation tasks and following manager instructions to ensure quality and compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years of age, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a state background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in landscaping, production, manufacturing, or other fast-paced physical environments preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions given by the manager.
• Perform basic plant maintenance including bottoming, thinning, topping, and spacing.
• Transplant (up-potting) to larger containers using proper techniques.
• Harvest plants and record weights in the state electronic recordkeeping system.
• Dispose of plant waste per state regulations and record in the state system.
• Sanitize rooms according to procedures.
• Complete assigned tasks within timeframes and specifications.
• Comply with SOPs and state regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow PPE procedures and report injuries, near misses, and hazards to management.
• Encourage teamwork and maintain a positive, productive environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
